Linux/AM5716: MMC1/3 use with eMMC

Dear Team,

From the TRM I see the following table

We have following requirements:

USE-CASE-1

MMC2 always to eMMC for boot media
MMC1 & MMC3 to SD cards

USE-CASE-2

MMC2 always to eMMC for boot media
MMC1 & MMC3 to eMMC

Is it okay to have the above configuration.

From one of my previous post on e2e, I see USE-CASE-1 is okay, following is the link:

Please help me at the earliest

Both MMC1 and MMC3 can be used with eMMC memories. but, as Table 25-2 from the TRM shows, there will be speed restrictions on these two. You should also note that MMC1 has only 4-bit data interface.

Hi Biser,

Thanks for your response.

I understand MMC1 works upto SDR-104 mode, does the same apply to eMMC ?
and MMC3 works upto SDR-50. MMC1 & MMC3 supports JC64 eMMC Standard v4.5, correct me.
