Hi,

I need to use IBIS model to simulate the WE signal ( PCB trace ) of the asynchronies emif , AM5728 CPU pin M3 (gpmc_wen) is a driver.

Voltage of the asynchronies interface is set to 3.3V

Which model I need to use, Model_172, Model_173, Model_174 or Model_175?

Model_172 I/O,3.3V,40D CLASS MODE FAST MODE,IND,10 PERCENT%,BC40D_H_10P_!SC1_3P3
Model_173 I/O,3.3V,40C CLASS MODE SLOW MODE,IND,10 PERCENT%,BC40D_H_10P_SC1_3P3

What is the difference between the models?

Hi Andrzej,
There are two conditions selected using the models above. The first is the stability of the 3.3V IO power supply. If you have a power supply with a 10% tolerance select a 10% model. If it's 5% select a 5% model. The second defines the slew rate selected using the slewcontrol bit in the pad configuration register for the WE signal. See section 18.4.6.1.1 of the Technical Reference Manual for more details.

Thank you for the quick answer to my question.

If possible,I have two more questions:

1. slew rate control is for the WE pad only or can be done for the for the address and data line as well?

2. does the DSS pins have the slew rate control as well?
