Hello.

I work with am5728-evm and I want to send and receive from PC to my device (am5728-evm) by PCIe communication.

Is there any simple driver or simple code to do this?

please help me.

Hi.
Thanks for your reply.
I want to send specific data from PC to am5728-evm board and therefore see the same data on the other side (on the am5728-evm).
Or I can turn on one of the am5728-evm's LEDs using pci (from PC to am5728-evm).
How can do this?
please help me.

Saman,

For am5728 be functional with a PC, a host side windows PCI driver corresponding to the endpoint function is required. In linux, TI uses the pci-epf-test.c (EP side)/pci_endpoint_test(host side). So, if you use pci-epf-test.c on the EP side, a windows PCI driver similar to pci_endpoint_test.c used in linux is required. Or, you can write your own on both sides.

Rex,
both of host and the device (am5728) are linux base. therefore I want to send data from linux host (PC) to am5728-evm.
or send data from from linux host (PC) to am5728-evm and turn on LEDs on this board.
How can do this?
TI uses PCI_Test.c for testing EP and RC in 2 am5728-evm.
can I use this program to send data between them?

Saman,

The bottom line is that the host side PC needs to have PCI driver corresponding to the endpoint function. You can port it to your linux host.
