Linux/TMDSICE3359: Bitbake problem

Hi,

I was working on making a new bitbake layer in linux. I was initally going through the "Hello-World" example given in the following link

But I was not able to  perform Step 4 in the "Testing things out" section.

Following was the error I got

"fatal: unable to connect to gitorious.org:
gitorious.org[0: 64.13.172.37]: errno=Connection refused"

What am I doing wrong ??
