Linux/DRA746: eglCreateImageKHR failed for RGBA

Hi,

We are using EGL_RAW_VIDEO_TI_DMABUF as target to do eglCreateImageKHR, but the fourcc format only support yuv

Can we support eglCreateImageKHR with RGBA format?

The platform is DRA746 and SDK version is GLSDK7.04/DDK versionsgxddk 1.9@2253347 (release).

Based on the DDK version, we tried to use pixmap target as below:
g_bo = gbm_bo_create(alloc->getGbmDevice(),
TEX_WIDTH, TEX_HEIGHT,
GBM_FORMAT_ARGB8888,
GBM_BO_USE_RENDERING|GBM_BO_USE_WRITE);

EGLint attrib_list = EGL_NONE;
EGLImageKHR img = eglCreateImageKHR(mEglDisplay, EGL_NO_CONTEXT, EGL_NATIVE_PIXMAP_KHR, bo, &attrib_list);

But got buffer import error:
gbmpvr: ERROR: GetBuffers:361: PVR2DImportGEM failed
gbmpvr: ERROR: FreeBuffers:414: PVR2DMemFree failed: -1
gbmpvr: ERROR: CreateDrawable:295: Could not get buffers!

Could TI provider more suggestions?

I will try to reproduce your issue on my GLSDK 7.04 setup and let you know if I face the same problem

Hi Tao,

just to update you: due to graphics team being currently fully busy with some high priority tasks in the following 3-4 weeks the response rate from them might be very slow. We will try to prioritize the E2E forum after that period.
