AM3356: EDMA version for PROFIBUS Slave

Hi,

Let me talk about PRU-ICSS-PROFIBUS_Slave 01.00.01.01 and PSDK 4.0.0.4.

I see EDMA_VERSION=2.12.03.27 of projectCreate.bat

C:\ti\PRU-ICSS-Profibus_Slave_01.00.01.01\protocols\profibus_slave\projects\projectCreate.bat

:: Set EDMA3 Version which is to be used while creating the project
set "EDMA_VERSION=2.12.03.27"

but I got EDMA version 2.12.04.28 when I install ProcessorSDK 4.0.0.4.

It is not same EDMA version.

Let me know which version shoud we use ? 2.12.03.27 ? 2.12.04.28 ?

Hello Experts,
Adding to EDMA version described in above post, SYS/BIOS version is also not same.

From projectCreate.bat line 69

:: Set SYSBIOS Version which is to be used while creating the project
set "SYS_BIOS_VERSION=6.46.04.53"

On the other hand, PSDK 4.0.0.4 default install version is 6.46.05.55

Could you please confirm if we should modify .bat file?

Hi Uchikoshi-san, let me confirm with developers which PSDK version should be used for PRU-ICSS-PROFIBUS-SLAVE 01_00_01_01 and come back to you.

I couldn't find this info in the documentation (we already have a JIRA to improve this in the future). I believe is a previous PSDK as the one you are using (PSDK 3.3)

Uchikoshi-san, please use EDMA 2.12.4.28, it seems there is an error in ProjectCreate.bat
