Where should we place the series capacitor on SGMII lines - near receiver or transmitter?

I have gone through layout guidelines in SerDes Implementation Guidelines and Hardware Design Guide for Keystone II Devices. But could not find where to place the capacitors for SGMII interface. Can anyone help me on this query?

See the Schematic Checklist:

It says:
"DC blocking capacitors are required for data lanes and should be implemented on the RX end. "
