Hi,

Is it true that VisionSDK usecases are different based on the OS you are using? It seems that there's a 3D surround view usecase on Linux version but not Windows version.

Which means I have to compile the software on both OS and run separately?

VSDK UCs are different depends on the OS running on A15, if it Bios or Linux. (not depends on the PC OS).
You can use Linux machine to compile both Bios only and Linux + Bios application. In this case use the Linux installer.
For windows machine, use the windows installer and support building Bios only application.

Hi,

I see. However, after downloading VSDK on Ubuntu, I can not install it by double clicking it or executing it in a terminal.

I've used chmod to allow the permissions as well.

Have you noticed any similar issue before?

Hi,

Here's some screen shots to let you know:

I've downloaded both 0301 and 0212 versions of VisionSDK and change the permissions to they could be executed.

But there's no reaction after running the installation .bin file in the terminal.

When I double click them, it says like these:

Do you have any idea why this happens?

It seems that maybe it's the ubuntu version. My OS is ubuntu 16.04 64bit. I tried on another computer's virtual machine where I installed ubuntu 14.04 32bit and it works. Which means that what document says is incorrect. (The documents says it must be a 64bit OS if it's on virtual machine)

Hi Xing,

did you run the command:

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs lib32stdc++6 lib32z1-dev lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0

on the 64-bit ubuntu (it is in chapter "2.2.1 A15 Compiler, Linker" in VisionSDK_Linux_UserGuide.pdf)?
Also try to install the packages listed in chapter "2.2.3 Other mandatory software packages for build".
