Hello All
I am involved with a product design using a 5509A DSP and a M45PE20 serial flash memory for program
storage and boot via McBsp0 (24 bit). Currently I am using 5509A DSK and CCS3.
It is my understanding that FlashBurn is not supported for CCS4x and Windows 7 at this time. I near the point
of purchasing CCS4 and a suitable USB JTAG emulator to continue development on custom hardware.
Here are my questions:
What other methods are out there besides FlashBurn to get the program into the serial flash?
Does anybody know of an off the shelf type dongle that can accept the output file produced from hex55 exe
and flash it into the (soldered down) serial memory?
Where might I find an example hex command file used by hex55.exe that demonstrates the 24 bit serial boot load?
