RTOS/AM5728: EDMA3 configuration file

Hi,

I am using ti-processor-sdk-rtoa-am57xx-evm-04.00.00.04-Linux-x86 SDK and I am testing EDMA3 driver on evmAM5728 , So I want some suggestion for writing EDMA3 configuration file . If you already have one .. Can you please share with me?

Hi,

I saw you used Linux RTOS package. For the EDMA test, do you run it as a RTOS application (could be download by Linux A15) or some test under Linux environment?

Hi Eric,

I want to run EDMA test as a RTOS application, I found that in UART_BasicExample_evmAM572x_DMA_c66xTestProject example configuration file has EDMA driver configuration as

var Edma = xdc.loadPackage ("ti.sdo.edma3.drv.sample");
var drv = xdc.loadPackage ("ti.sdo.edma3.drv");
var rm = xdc.loadPackage ("ti.sdo.edma3.rm");

Is it fine if I use the same configuration file, or you recommend me any changes?

My another Question is as explained in this thread , Is it mandatory to do sample Initialisation?

Hi,

We have several driver examples with EDMA support, like UART, PCIE. The configuration looks fine. The EDMA initialization is given in those examples.
