RTOS/66AK2H12: Processor SDK install error

I am attempting to install the TIU-RTOS SDK for the K2H found at:

software-dl.ti.com/.../ti-processor-sdk-rtos-k2hk-evm-04.01.00.06-Windows-x86-Install.exe

The package installed without error.

However, when I run CCS (ver 7.3) it asks me if I want to install the latest (edma3, ipc, openmp, pdk). I get this error when I click Install:

"An error occurred while uninstalling
session context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Uninstall, operand=[R]com.ti.dvt.analysis.traceviewer 4.1.0.201705251038 --> null, action=com.ti.ccstudio.p2.actions.RunCommandAction).
Command failed."

Hi,

Can you try removing your CCS (ver 7.3) and install the recommended version in the bellow link:
software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

You can see there is a download link for ccs_setup_7.2.0.00013.exe

The latest SDK at the link you supply is the one I installed and the one I'm having an issue with.

Also, the latest version of CCS is 7.3.0019. Please see processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Download_CCS

My team often runs into this kind of advice on E2E: drop backwards by a revision or two. We can't constantly be dropping backwards and maintain currency on our toolset.

This advise is given, because each SDK release is tested with the corresponding version of CCS, and using newer or later version of CCS may cause compatibility issues with the SDK.

Never mind. I completely uninstalled CCS 7..2, then installed CCS 7.3 and all the libraries and plug-ins are updated properly now.

Ah, yes it could be possible that the packages have mixed & somehow messed with the installation. Good to hear you've solved this.
