66AK2G02: TSC (Time Stamp Counter) default frequency

Hi,

May I know what's the default frequency the the time stamp counter (TSC) runs on the 66AK2G02? I'm able to profile functions successfully, but unable to get the time equivalent due to ambiguity at which the TSC is running. The TSC has been enabled but not been explicitly configured in the GEL file.

Hi Smita,

You can use time stamps in Ethernet subsystem, in PWM subsystem and in the Debug subsystem.
To which Time-Stamp Counter do you refer?

Hi Yordan,

I was referring to function profiling using the TSC on the C66x DSP. We have optimized code and are able to profile signal processing/computationally intensive tasks successfully. But I need to confirm the default frequency at which the TSC operates (the TSCH and TSCL) .

The TSC counter counts in terms of CPU clock cycles (C66x).
