TMS320C6678: c6678 EMIF NOR Flash

Hi,

I want to use 64MB NOR flash for c6678. So I am using 2 chip select driven to a CPLD, which when needed drives a single chip select to flash and also controls the highest address of bit of flash.

Will this procedure work for storing 64MB data in flash.

So, as far as I understand, you have the following use case

| C6678 |<--------------------------->| CPLD |<--------------------------->|NOR FLASH|

If yes, then this should be possible.

Hi,

I don't get why you mixed the address mapping this way.
C6678 EMIF_A23 ----> connectst to ----> NOR_A1
C6678 EMIF_A0 ----> connectst to ----> NOR_A2
.......
C6678 EMIF_A22 ----> connectst to ----> NOR_A24

This seems quite random, and I am not sure if it will work. Also where is the data bus?
