Hello, we are currently using the EVM with the 66AK2L06 device and we want to boot from spi nor flash with our own application. We are able to flash the .out file as well as the .bin and verify the spi nor flash device through the emulator in code composer using the nor writer. However, when we power down and up the board does not boot. We have made sure that we set the 4-pin dip switch to the proper setting to indicate an spi nor flash boot. We need to know how to get this damn thing to boot!! We have been generating the .bin file with your tiobj2bin script using the uart example.
A secondary issue is that the default boot that the board runs with factory settings will boot fine and run, but we are unable to connect with the emulator from code composer. We have been forced to put the board in a "no boot" mode, turn it on and then we can get in through the emulator. Another eval board cannot connect through the emulator when the "no boot" mode is selected.
please help we are drowning!
