How to generate main clock for a CMOS sensor from L138?

Hi,

I'm going to connect a CMOS sensor to the VPIF of L138, it seems VPIF doesn't provide a dedicated clock output, which will be used by the cmos sensor as its main clock input(MCLK, or XVCLK, whatever, 12M ~ 24MHz normally), dose any one provide some ideas how to generate this clock?

It is possible to externally source the reference clock from another OMAPL138 peripheral. For example, the TIMER and ePWM modules can generate output clocks. You could also take advantage of a clock from an unused peripheral like EMAC RMII or EMIFA.
