RTOS/TDA3XEVM: USE CASES FOR CROPPING THE OUTPUT IMAGE

Hi Everyone ,

Is there any usecases for cropping and display the output image in TDA3x . My scenario is to crop the actual output and showcase the remaining display without changing the aspect ratio.

Display as such does not support cropping, but you could offset the buffer to crop the image to the display.

This other module, which can crop the image is ISP. ISP supports cropping of image.

I think even VIP supports cropping of input image.

Yep, VIP cropping is used for almost all usecases and it is used for cropping blanking data.
