DM6467 AAC audio codec

The codec data sheets, included in the DVSDK in the codec combos directory, has information on what the codec supports or does not support.  This would be the best place to look for this sort of information. 

You can create multiple instances of the codec, as many instances as the hardware resources would allow.  But I get the feeling this is not really what you are after.
