Hi,

I got an AM571IDK V1.3b for the development. Unexpectedly, the flash (U4, S25FL256) was not empty.

Question: Will the flash be delivered empty? If not, what is programmed?

Christian,

There is nothing loaded into the NOR FLASH intended for customer use. There are some values written to and read from this memory as part of the production test flow. You can overwrite it without issue.
