RTOS/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X: Cannot create McASP projects targeting DSP

Hello,

I am trying to generate McASP example projects for the evmAM572x with the latest release of the Processor SDK RTOS pdkProjectCreate.sh script.

I am running the script with these options:

./pdkProjectCreate.sh AM572x evmAM572x little mcasp all dsp

I think my CCS installation is missing files or is misconfigured, because I get the error "!ERROR: Device is either 'null' or is currently not recognized by CCS. See 'Help > Check for Updates' or visit CCS App Center to get the latest device support." when running the project creation script. I have Sitara device support, C6000 device support, and C6000 multicore device support installed in CCS. How can I fix this error?

Hi,

Did you use CCS 7.2? After installing the CCS, did you run the CCS to let it detect and register all the RTSC packages?

Hello,

I am using CCS 7.2 on Linux, yes. This installation of CCS 7.2 has been run and even used to generate and build the arm version of the exact same McASP project that I'm having trouble with.

So, the problem is only for generating DSP project? As Sitara device support, C6000 device support, and C6000 multicore device support installed in CCS, I can't think anything wrong. The Wiki mentioned:

Is it possible for you to re-install CCS fully and try?
