Linux/AM5718: Boot time optimization

HI,

We have developed the SOM with AM5718. It is working fine. we are facing issue with booting time. This board is taking around 20 seconds of time to get root login. This time is same for EVM also. If any one optimized the time please let me know the time achieved and patches applied. Our application demands less than 8 seconds for getting the  root login. There are many SOMs with IMX6Q, SAMA5D3X etc they are booting with 7 or 8 seonds with armstrong distribution.There are user guides also on boot time. Where as in these there are no example logs after optimization.
