66AK2H14: Hyperlink SI analysis

Part Number: 66AK2H14

Hi,

I am using Hyperlink interface between two 66AK2H14 SOCs.

For SI analysis of the interface, I need eye opening requirement, insertion and return loss specifications.

Please let me know where can I get these details for 66AK2H14 device.

Thanks & Regards,

madhu

  • Hi,

Hyperlink is a four-lane SerDes interface designed to operate at up to 10 Gbps per lane from pin-to-pin. So it should be compliant with SerDes electrical specifications. See this thread for reference:

  • Hello Yordan,

    Thanks for the reply.

In the above link shared by you, it is mentioned that SERDES common mode receiver voltage is set to 0.7V ( for keystone I) . But I could not find this information in Keystone II hyperlink user-guide. Please let me know where this information is mentioned.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Madhu
  • Hi Madhu,
The Hyperlink interface is designed for direct connection between TI devices. The common mode voltage will be the same for all TI devices using Hyperlink. No other Hyperlink connections are allowed without DC blocking caps. Currently I am not aware of any other device outside TI that is supporting Hyperlink.
