Hi, All:

eMMC 5.0( HS 400 mode), The eMMC has a DS pin, how to connnect the AM4378 ( GPMC)

Hi,

There is no eMMC support on the GPMC interface. eMMC is supported on the MMC interfaces.

Thanks, it means AM4378 can't support eMMC as flash ? AM4378 has no MMC interface,

AM4378 has three MMC interfaces: MMC0, MMC1 and MMC2.

I want to use Micro (eMMC, MTFC64GAKAEEY-4M IT) , but this eMMC (supprt HS 400 ) has a "DS" Pin, how to deal with it, I can't find the signal in eMMC port of AM4378. Thanks for your help.

The description of "DS" of eMMC.
DS Output Data strobe: Generated by the device and used for data output and CRC status response output in
HS400 mode. The frequency of this signal follows the frequency of CLK. For data output, each cycle
of this signal directs two bits transfer (2x) on the data, one bit for the positive edge and the other
bit for the negative edge. For CRC status response output, the CRC status is latched on the positive
edge only, and is "Don't Care" on the negative edge.

HS400 mode is not supported on AM437x devices. The highest possible speed is up to 384Mbit/sec (48MByte/sec) in MMC mode 8-bit data transfer. DDR modes are not supported. You can leave this pin floating.
