Linux/TMDSEVM572X: OpenCL usage

Dear sir,

I have and OpenCL C code in my PC(windows) , I want to execute it in the linux systerm of TMDSEVM527X and TMDSIDK572x , Should I use CCS to download it to the EVM ?

Or I have another way to compiler and execute it in my TI board?

You do not have to use CCS to download/execute OpenCL code on the AM572x EVM. OpenCL applications can be natively compiled on the EVM or cross-compiled on a x86 Linux host and run on the EVM.

The OpenCL User's Guide available here is a good starting point: downloads.ti.com/.../index.html

There is a chapter on Examples which goes into some detail on building and running OpenCL examples included on the EVM file system: downloads.ti.com/.../build_and_run.html
