CCS/TCI6638K2K: TCI6638K2K- DDR3A and DDR3B

Hello,

In the K2H_K2EVM-HK_SCH_REV4P0_1104 schematics , TI SOC is powered by VCCA0V75REF for DDR3AVREFSSTL (pin G14) and VCCB0V75REF powers DDR3BVREFSSTL (pin AC31).

Is there any requirement to power it using separate rails VCCA0V75REF and VCCB0V75REF? Why can't is be powered from same rail if current is the only concern?

Is there anything like both DDR3 channels of the SOC have to be powered separately? or can it be combined?

As I said in the other post, in the reference design this separation of VCCA0V75REF and VCCB0V75REF is most likely done based on their power consumption estimations. There is no specific recommendation that DDR3AVREFSSTL and DDR3BVREFSSTL must be powered separately.
