66AK2G02: Using 66AK2G02 industrial EVM hardware - software support + benchmarks

I reaad the 66AK2G02 industrial evaluation manual and datasheet and I saw that it has 2 parallel 16 bit interfaces for capturing data from externa devices (J4D and J4E).

However, I did not find the timing of those ports. What is the maximum data rate?

I also did not see any source code for operating those ports.

Can you share that information with me?

Does the industrial EVM comes with any source code for operating al of its interfaces? Can you send a link?

How do I do ICE of that device? Using CCS? What is the connection to the board?

    Hi Forda,

    The parallel 16 bit capture ports are part of the PRU-ICSS unit. PRU-ICSS can be configured in a number of different modes, one of which is the MDIO parallel capture mode. The timing for parallel capture can be found in section 5.9.4.12.3.1 PRU-ICSS MDIO Electrical Data and Timing in the data manual. The ICE board uses these ports as RMII connections to Ethernet PHYs. The signals for one ICSS port is connected to the test header through muxes. You can disable two of the Ethernet ports and redirect those signals to the expansion header.
