CCS/TMS320C6678: SRIO sysbios example "tput_benchmarking" running problem

Example location: in the folder ti\pdk_c667x_2_0_7\packages\ti\drv\srio\test\tput_benchmarking

Problem:When I am running the example in the c-s-c or the b-s-b mode .It will show the debug message "the srio port 0 is not operational." and the program will soon fall in an endless loop(in the latencytest),not typing anything.This dosen't happen in the c-i-c mode or the b-e-b mode.The srio switch is probably set already by ARM and the srio id is also adjusted.

Can you use CCS to step into the code so that you can locate at which function the code breaks?

I have solved this problem by change the reference clock.But a new problem occured.
The nwrite test passed successfully but the nread test stoped after the tx side send the socket,no response from the rx side.

the program stopped here in the producerDIONReadLatencyTest() function,it keeps in the while cycle below.(nwrite passed successfully).

Hi,

Does this fail with board to board test? Are you running the test on C6678 or your custom board? The tput benchmark should work with default reference clock setting. For board to board test, please refer to readme.txt under PDK \packages\ti\drv\srio\test\tput_benchmarking\src\ for producer and consumer code change.

board to board,the custom board is running,the clock has already changed,the srio id is set right.the nwrite passed successfully,but it stopped when gonging to nread test.

The board to board test is verified with breakout card (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CI_Dual_EVM_Break_Out_Card )as noted in readme.txt, which breakout card are you using?

Understood you are using custom EVMs, but do you also use a custom breakout card to connect the EVMs?

You probably have to set up a TI EVMs and breakout card first then try to narrow down the problem. There might be many variables between your custom boards and TI boards.
