B frames DM6467T

Hi all,

I'd like to know if it's possible to encode with B frames over the DM6467T, I saw in one post that we should modify some parameters, but it was very ambiguous. What shoul I modify and how?

Can you clarify if you are developing the encoder yourself on DM6467T? Or, have access to the source code of encoder? The library releases as is (posted on http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/codecs/DM6467/index_FDS.html) do not support B frames.

Not sure which post you are referring to, but the post http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/99/p/6533/24829.aspx refers to the encoder source code modifications to be done to support B frames. Are you looking for more details on this?

Hi,

Yes, We're developing over the libray of TI. I was referring to that post, but it's left unclosed, I mean, It doesn't say if he succeeded or not. We'd like to know if the modifications are important or minor as the post says, and also know how "minor" are the modifications.

Also if possible we'd like to evaluate IP codecs if available, is there any list of them?
