AM4372: Pin F8 connection

Hi champs,

My customer has a question about AM4372's F8 pin connects.
　AM437x Power Starterkit EVM : F8 pin connects GND
　AM437x Power Industrial EVM : F8 pin connects V3_3D

Which is correct?

This is the VDDS3P3V_IOLDO power pin. This is the input of the internal 1.8V LDO used to supply 1.8V for VDDS on pin CAP_VDDS1P8V_IOLDO (pin D6) in the simplified power sequencing scheme is used:
1. If the internal LDO is not used pin F8 can be connected to GND. This is the case with the Starter Kit EVM.
2. If the internal LDO is used pin F8 must be connected to 3.3V and pin D6 must supply VDDS. This is the case with the IDK EVM.

Could you please more details about 1 case.
Can this power pin connect GND directly? (Will not it break?)

Yes, if CAP_VDDS1P8V_IOLDO (pin D6) is left floating then pin F8 can be connected to GND.
