CCS/TCI6638K2K: 'Cannot find a driver for Cpu PTM_0'

Hi

We have a TCI6638 project that builds fine with CCS 5.5.  I want to try migrating it to CCS 7.4.  When I build the project in CCS 7.4 (with compiler 7.4.19) I get the following errors:

'Cannot find a driver for Cpu PTM_0'

'Cannot find a driver for Cpu PTM_1'

'Cannot find a driver for Cpu PTM_2'

'Cannot find a driver for Cpu PTM_3'

When I look at our target configuration file in CCS 5.5 the target configuration includes the structure:

DAP

CS_DAP_DebugSS

cortexA15_0

CortexA15_1

In CCS 7.4 this structure has additional members:

DAP

CS_DAP_DebugSS

cortexA15_0

CortexA15_1

PTM_0

What do I need to do to fix the build?

    Try either:

    a) Add the following ling to the .ccxml file in the section for the drivers:

                <instance XML_version="1.2" href="drivers/tixds560cs_child.xml" id="drivers" xml="tixds560cs_child.xml" xmlpath="drivers"/>

    b) Re-creating the target configuration file in CCS 7 (e.g. change the connection to a new type of emulator and then back to the original). This will cause CCS to update the list of drivers, but you will have to restore any custom properties (e.g. GEL initialization scripts for CPUs)

    Hi,

    Can you please provide information about Making a different emulator and setting it as target one. Every time I create new one, I push it up in the list but after I click save button new emulator goes down. and Problem remains. 

    Please Help
