AM3358: USB question

In our case it was a misconfiguration of the crystal connected to the CPU. If I remember correctly the EVM uses something like 24MHz while we're using a 25MHz. That small difference made a huge difference when we started communicating at USB 2.0 speeds (USB 1.0 worked fine most of the time).
