From the section "21.3.15.1 Module Configuration Before Enabling the Module", the first step is to "Program the prescaler to obtain an approximately 12-MHz I2C module clock".
Is it required to set the I2C module clock to 12MHz? I want to use the I2C at a speed lower than 100KHz, the most convenient way is to lower this "I2C module clock", can I just increase "I2C_PSC" to lower the clock below 12 MHz?
