Linux/TMS320DM8127: Linux processor SDK for DM8127

Is there a LInux processor SDK available for the TMS320DM8127 processor, and if so, where can it be found?

Also, what are the key differences between the 814x and DM8127? Can DSP 674x code developed for the 814x (using 814x SOC peripheral addresses, etc,..) run on the DM8127's 674x DSP core without modification (assuming that the software only uses peripherals that are available on both devices)?

Dear TI Forums Members,

My company also intend to start a new design with help of DM8127 processor as a video subsystem part. We already bought a "TMS320DM8127 Camera Starter Kit (CSK) " and tried SD card demo software. But there are a plenty questions about next steps. Because in "IPNC Reference Design Kit Installation Guide" there are described only steps and sequences of booting from SD or NAND.

So does anybody can explain were it's possible to find smth like "Quick start guide" and projects examples for Code Compose Studio (or IDE related to DM8127) with connected libraries and tool chains. How to pass this the very First step to be able to begin developing device.

DM8127 has IPNC RDK, based on kernel 4.4:

For differences between DM814x and DM8127, you should compare datasheets/erratas of these two devices. I think DSP is the same in DM814x/DM8127, but you should better compare the datasheets/erratas.
