RTOS: Creating algorithm link on IPU

Hello,

I am using sdk : PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_00_00_00, building apps for SYS BIOS.

I have created algorithm link for IPU,

For IPU,

Created usecase to execute above link as,

Capture -> Alg_InvertImage (IPU1_0) -> Display

While building ( gmake -s -j) it gives error on console as,

Note:-

1. Removed binaries from "/vision_sdk/binaries/apps/tda2xx_evm_bios_all/* ", then "gmake -s -j depend" and then "gmake -s -j" .

2. Same link has created successfully for EVE and DSP also (tested by creating use case).

3. I have already created another link for IPU , got the same issue refer @

    Did you try fixes suggested in other e2e post? like link name case not matching, calling alg plugin main function from IPU system_main, plugin included in gmake showconfig etc?

    Somehow i am able to run the usecase, issue was with usecase.
    I have another query continue with this. I have created usecase for IPU1_0 as,

    UseCase: chains_invert_image_ipu

    Capture -> Alg_InvertImage -> Display
    GrpxSrc -> Display_Grpx

    But, as per "GrpxSrc -> Display_Grpx " , utilization in % is not showing on output screen.
    Do you have any suggestions for this ?

    Can you check if the CPU load and other stats in the UART console are shown correctly (by pressing "p")?

    We can see status on console by pressing 'p', but we wanted in GUI format.
    Now it is showing, by changing use case as,

    UseCase: chains_invert_image_ipu

    Capture -> Alg_InvertImage(IPU1_1) -> Display
    GrpxSrc -> Display_Grpx

    Meaning, running "Alg_InvertImage" on IPU1_1 instead of IPU1_0.

    But this shows 0% load while executing usecase , when i press 2 ( to pause) it show actual load in % , again on restarting it shows 0% .

    Any idea why this is happening ?

    I guess your IPU1_0 is fully loaded because of which it is not able to fetch/draw load graph.
    When you press "p" what is IPU1_0 load?

    As you can see in the log IPU1_1 is fully loaded (CPU: IPU1-1: Unable to get CPU statistics !!!).
    Looks like this is due to Alg_InvertImage taking all BW.

    BTW when you say "But this shows 0% load while executing usecase , when i press 2 ( to pause) it show actual load in % , again on restarting it shows 0% ."
    Is 0% load shown for all cores or only for IPU1_1 on graphics link?

    It is expected behaviour, as IPU1_1 is fully loaded, it couldnt share statistics with primary core so 0% is shown.
    Try optimizing the algorithm or reducing fps or moving it to DSP/EVE.
