Hi,

We have a custom board created using AM437x idk as reference, we need a production tool to flash the bare board .

Please guide us to existing production tool for flashing the images.

Hi,

What is the type of memory you have? What interfaces (UART, Ethernet, USB, MMC) does the board have?

Hi,
We are planning to flash on QSPI flash and our board supports UART , Ethernet interfaces.

Hi,

Sorry we only have QSPI writer through MMCSD interface. If your board doesn't have MMCSD, it will not work. Do you have JTAG? Is it possible to use CCS/JTAG approach?

Hi,

Yes i have jtag but i am not able to access qspi memory map 0x30000000 with ccs, i am using idk gel file.
do i need any specific gel file to access qspi , please guide to use jtag for qspi flashing.

Ritesh,

Please refer to the QSPI flash tool using CCS and JTAG that can be used to flash image to the QSPI flash:

We plan to introduce a flashing tool on the lines of Uniflash tool by the end of 1H2018 but this is not currently available for testing yet.
