Linux/AM3358: DMTimer resolution

Part Number: AM3358

Tool/software: Linux

Dear Champs,

My customer is using Linux PSDK v4.1.0.6, and want to control SPI using timer.

Could you please let me know details on the DMtimer of AM3358 as below?

As I understand, dmtimer1 is used for tick counter of Linux, and thus can not be used for other peripherals, right?

My customer is concerning on the resolution of other timers(2~7) and they need 100us resolution. When I checked TRM, I found the minimum resolution is 31.25us with 32.768khz clock input. Can this performance be achieved in Linux system? Is there any other restriction?

Thanks and Best Regards,

SI.
