My current project relies on ipc 1.25.0.4 and syslink 2.10.3.20

I wish to upgrade to newer ipc software, and ask what is the TI preferred upgrade path. That is, What does TI suggest as a solution?

Hi Chris,

DM816x device is used with IPC1.x, and IPC3.x is not supported. Do you want to upgrade to the newest IPC1.x (IPC 1.25.03.15)?

I am having issues compiling with IPC 1.25.3.15

Is it compatible with XDC 3.32.1.22 and SysBios 6.46.5.55?

If not, what is the latest combination that I can use?

So does this mean that the most current sysbios I can use for this project is 6.34.4.22, or is there something newer that is compatible?

Yes, I think BIOS up to 6.34.04.22 can be used with DM816x device, because of IPC compatibility. The latest IPC1.x version (1.25.03.15) is supported by DM816x device, while any IPC3.x version is not supported by DM816x device.

If you are not using IPC, then you can use BIOS 6.53.01.03.
