Can someone tell me about the isp/ccdc driver in the 2.6.32 psp and if it is being aligned to http://gitorious.org/omap3camera project?

Is the arago kernel shown below the staging for the next PSP release? If so, it still seems to have the old/current ISP driver.

Chris,

Migration to media controller framework is tentatively scheduled for the next PSP release along with the kernel upgrade to 2.6.35.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a staging repository for the upcoming PSP release? And do you know the expected release timeframe?

Chris,

It is tentatively scheduled for this year end. I will update you with more details of the branch once we host it on arago, it is currently an internal development only.

Please note that the next PSP release would be based on 2.6.37 kernel version (not 2.6.35).

Hi Chris,

Currently we are working towards getting Media-Controller support into our upcoming release based on 2.6.37. I could able to push my staging development to the arago repository under master branch.

The current status is, I have mt9v113 with BeagleXM and mt9t111 with OMAP3EVM (both in VGA resolution) working with media-controller.

Please note that, we havn't done full system testing on this, its just sanity tested at the moment.

Just wanted to update and close on this, I have pushed our development integration branch to Arago repository which should have media-controller support, supporting mt9t111 (in VGA resolution) and TVP5146 (BT656).
