Greetings. My name is Anastasia. Could you advise me on the choice of media processor for portable electronics? We need to take pictures at a rate of 12 frames per second. The camera is 13 megapixels, it has a serial data interface MIPI. Of course, it would be all very well to be able to buy a development board with processor.

    Hi Anastasia,

    TI has various processors and DSPs appropriate for your needs but I suggest you Sitara AM5728. One of its features is availability of 2 Video Input Port (VIP) which have support for a single external asynchronous pixel clock, up to 165 Mhz per port. This performance seems enough for your requirements 12 frames per second at 13 Mpix which refers to 156 MHz pixel clock.
