prog file does not exist

Hi, i am writing a source code in code composer V4 , when i save it , its is saved. when i press debug it gives an error saying program file does not exist.

its displays a dialog box saying the *.out file does not exist. isnt the *.out file not created when a new project created. Please advise

Habeeb,

It appears that your project did not build, therefore there is no object code file to load into the DSP. Not sure what is wrong. Take a look at this Wiki to understand how to setup CCSv4 project and build object file for debugging: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CCSv4_Getting_Started_Guide.

HI,
What is mean:

Specified Program ( Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Debug Probe_0/CORTEX_M3_0 ) does not exist.
This messages appears in config windows.

What version of CCS are you using? This is in the target configuration which depends on you available HW. Also, please start a new entry. This is a 2010 entry.
