TMS320C5515: audio loopback sample code is not working

Hi,

When i tried to run the aic3204 example program, i was able to hear the 1khz tone, but after that the audio loopback was not happening i.e, i cannot hear anything on my headphone even if there is some input at the microphone. I have a microphone at my stereo in and a headphone at my stereo out. Please help me. I am using CCS4V and TMS320C5515 eZdsp USB stick.

Hi Niyathi,

Which software package did you get the example from? Are you trying the tests in the C55x CSL?

Hi Lalindra,

I am using the example from c:/program files/Texas instruments/ccs4v/emulation/boards/usb5515v1/tests/aic3024.

Niyathi,

Could you please use the CSL examples that I had mentioned in the previous post?
And also update your CCS to v7 if possible.
v4 is extremely outdated.

Could you please tell me more regarding CSL? Is there any user guide ?how to use it? How to link it with CCS?Which version of CSL?The development board that I got came with CCS4 version.

There are CCS project examples which can be imported into your workspace available in the release at C:\ti\c55_lp\c55_csl_3.08\ccs_v6.x_examples

Yes, CCSv4 does come with the board, but CCS v7 is also supported for the C55x family of devices.
