I need to know the jumper setting for the the AM5728-IDK (Rev-B) board for booting from uart.

Hi Biser,

I already gone through these documents but not able to understand how to make these settings on the board.
From TRM, I got that SYSBOOT[5:0] are responsible for boot mode.If I have to select uart the combination will be SYSBOOT[5:0] = 0b010011

How we can make corresponding changes on the board ?

You have to solder/unsolder the corresponding resistors on the board.

Thanks Biser for the reply.
One more thing we want to clarify.

Tried enabling sysboot corresponding GPMC gpio using jtag but even though we are not observing "ccccc" characters on the console.
Do we need above suggested hardware modification to perform this task ?

Do we have any alternative to boot from uart without any hardware modification ?

No, this will not work. SYSBOOT pins are sampled only once at device reset release time. This cannot be done without HW modification on this board.

Just for the confirmation below are the pins which we need mount/unmount according to the sysboot[5:0] configuration ?
Please confirm the same.
