AM4379: IDK does not power on

Hi ,

I have problem on Am4379 IDK board
when I was test on my board by wrong way I connected 5v to pwm 0A pin (pin number on j16 header is 24 ).

after this the board does not power on . any help

Hi,

You have damaged the processor. It must be replaced.

Thanks For Replay , I removed the processor and Short circuit has gone from the kit ,
and I will order another processor.

hi biser,

I brought a new processor and install it on my board and it work good .
My question is If the new processors have a ROM boot loader image (RBL) installed before Or as known by first boot loader (fbl)?

I'm facing this problem when I tried to load my program from sd card .I follow up the steps to boot from sd card but unfortunately didn't work .
because the second boot loader doesn't called . I guess this because (fbl) doesn't exist on new processors.
So if this right how can i get the ROM boot loader image and the steps to install it on my processor.

The ROM code is factory-programmed in all devices at the factory. No Sitara device is shipped without ROM code. Please start a new thread for your program load issue and describe it in details there (SDK used, version, etc.)
