The M25P64-VME6TG SPI Flash (used on the OMAP-L138 EVM) is now obsolete. Is there a known drop-in replacement for this part? The S25FLO64P looks like it might work, but I'm not certain.
Thanks,
David

David,
There were reports that M25P128 worked ok. There are also a number of requirements listed in the bootloader appnote for SPI compatibility under Boot Requirements.
The instructions for S25FLO64P seem to be more or less compatible with M25P64.

David,
Your request got routed back to Logic PD by internal TI'ers to investigate. The Numonyx/Micron's website shows the part as active. Logic PD questioned Arrow and Avnet, neither have EOL documentation. Logic PD confirmed with Micron the part is not EOL.
There may be some confusion because the manufacture's part number is shared with ST Microelectronics which is obsolete.
Hope this helps,
-Kurt Larson
