Part Number: DM388
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM388

Tool/software: Linux

Hi,

I can partition and format the emmc to FAT32, but I can't format an ext4 partition.

sh-3.2# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/mmcblk1: 7818 MB, 7818182656 bytes
4 heads, 16 sectors/track, 238592 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 64 * 512 = 32768 bytes

        Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks  Id System
/dev/mmcblk1p1               1        4097      131064+  c Win95 FAT32 (LBA)
/dev/mmcblk1p2            4097       30492      844666  83 Linux --------------> ext4
/dev/mmcblk1p3           30492      238592     6659205+  b Win95 FAT32

How can I format that partition?
