Linux/AM3352: Power management

Part Number: AM3352

Tool/software: Linux

Dear Champs,

To meet Energy Star requirement for standby time, customer would like to implement standby mode or deep sleep mode in AM3352, but they are very worrying about stability issue at wake-up time. They have experienced many troubles in their previous production due to sleep mode and some of product failed to wake-up after sleep, and thus they would like to check what is most stable power-down mode in AM3352.

Could you please let me know what is most stable power-down mode in AM3352?

And could you please let me know if there are any restrictions to help making system stable for power-down mode like enough wake-up time?

Other issue is they are using discrete power supply for AM3352 instead of PMIC.

Even with 1.1V of CVDD(vdd_core_power and vdd_mpu_power), can this power-down mode be implemented stably?

They are using Processor Linux SDK v4.0.

Thanks and Best Regards,

SI.
