Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM1808

Hi,

I want use AM1808, in this I want to interface NAND Flash through EMIFA module.

DVDD3318_A - Power Group A Dual-voltage IO 1.8V or 3.3V, in this how can select any of supply??

Can you pls advice which type of NAND Flash(1.8V or 3.3V) directly interface with AM1808 without any voltage Translator??

  • Hello Yashpal;

    I have read some of  your questions in different sections of these forums; I think it may help you if you look at the open source schematic of L138/AM1808 on www.hawkboard.org

    for example in this case; it helps you see how the nand and ... is interfaced.

    and for nand types; you dont need voltage translator if you use correct parts.

    You can specifiy voltage range of the part in your search of parts in many distributor sites like www.digikey.com or avnet.com or arrow.com or many others.

    also the IO bus (A,B,C) of AM1808 can be set to 1.8 or 3.3 volts; but you got to make sure it doesn't messup othar parts that may share same bus. So use the Pin Multiplexing program that is provided on AM1808's page in ti.com and configure accordingly.

    good luck.
