TDA2EXEVM: TDA2Ex UART Short issue

When the UART Line(D26,D28) is short with BAT+(12V), then both SoC's Core_VDD and VDD_1V8 are short. which Core_VDD(PMIC PIN 9 10 11) and VDD_1V8(PMIC PIN 17 18 19 ) are from PMIC TPS65917

is this normal operation?

Hi,

What do you mean by UART pins are short with 12V? how this happened?

Can you post a schematic to show us where exactly is the issue?
