CCS/OMAP-L138: Help with example I2C code

Hi,

I managed to get an example code (i2cLedBlink.c) on the LCDK OMAP-L138 with Starterware_1_10_04_01 and it runs/compiles; however, I do not see a blinking LED and was wondering if I needed to connect an LED to the J15 connector on the LCDK. Any help would be appreciated; thank you in advance! I am using Code Composer Studio v5

Hi Kathleen,

We moved to using a GPIO based led blink example with the lcdkOMAPL138 board so you will indeed need to connect an LED. Which i2c port are you using? You can take a look at the schematic to see where you need to connect the LED: www.ti.com/.../getliterature.tsp

Hi Sahin,

After using jumper wires to connect an LED, the LED lights up. However, it does not blink. The LED and a resistor are connected to pins 13 and 15 on J15.
