AM3358: Looping USB0 to USB1

Hello Champs,

There are 2 USB ports on AM3358. USB0 is used as HOST and USB1 is used as DEVICE. Can I connect the USB0 to USB1 as a loop for test purpose?

I've tried to do loopback test for usb0, usb1 using RNDIS driver. but it pings failed. If the USB0, USB1 are tested separately, the test is successful.
Did Ti test the USB0, USB1 loopback?

Ken,

Loopback test in this context meant for hardware test, not for software application development, most usb class functional test in Linux, such as this USB ethernet you did, would fail, mainly due to the kernel class drivers are not designed for loopback. You either have to write your own non-Linux test application to perform the hardware test, or you could use testusb tool provided in kernel to do some tests with g_zero driver.
