Hi,
I have just a simple feature question:
Is there any plan to split the storm control into broadcast and multicast? I would like to prevent the broadcast storms but allow multicast storms (for "normal" communication on Ethernet/IP). Maybe there is an undocumented or not well tested way....

Broadcast frames Frames are first run through the Storm Prevention check and then get cut-through (subject to link availability on other port) as well as get forwarded to Host.
Multicast frames DLR and PTP frames bypass Storm Prevention check and have their own rules of forwarding which will be discussed later. Other frames are treated like Broadcast (forward to host and cut-through)
Do you observe any EIP issue with current implementation for storm prevention?

Damian, by the way, no sure if you are aware, but we moved from Industrial SDK to PRU-ICSS Industrial SW packages which are adds-on to our TI-RTOS Processor SDK
